Foggy River Cabins
The client wanted a logo for their cabin rental company.
The cabins are located in the Shenandoah Valley, by the river,
nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
They wanted the logo to feature the cabin in the mountains with
trees, with the name Foggy River Cabins below.
The logo is by a geometric design with the cabin roof lined up
with the mountains and the roof connecting to the tree line and
base of the mountains.
For the color palette, the
cabins are very distinct with the orange wooden siding and green
roof. We kept with the natural color theme by using the same
green for the trees, and chose a grey-blue color for the
mountains. The mountain would have been overwhelming with a
strong blue color like the mountain, so we toned it down.
The type across the bottom is an outdoors/western
type of decorative style to fit the business.
